 Evelyn Skurkovich
Senior Director, Research & Insights
Evelyn Skurkovich serves as senior director, research and insight for the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau (CAB). Skurkovich is responsible for providing cogent analysis of the marketplace and working integrally with the sales team to develop research which drives Cable advertising revenue. Additionally, Skurkovich conducts cross media research studies and develops various guides including the annual TV Factbook. She is also responsible for thecab.tv and cablive.tv web development and content.

Before joining the CAB, Skurkovich was most recently a market research supervisor for Walt Disney Company's Internet Group (WDIG). At Disney, she conducted various primary and secondary research studies to gain a deeper understanding of the online audiences and branding effects of advertising online. Additionally created new business pitches, demonstrating online target ability.

Skurkovich also spent time at MTV Networks specifically working within the VH-1 programming and planning department. Her responsibilities included streamlining the efforts of the various MTV research groups and analyzing cable market and audience trends in an effort to build strategies that would help grow share. Her experience also includes time on the agency side serving as a research specialist for DDB Needham in New York. At DDB she conducted research work for various clients most notably McDonald's.

Skurkovich earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Russian Studies from Muhlenberg College. She and her husband and their two children make their home in New York.
