JOB SUMMARY:
To prospect, cold call and sell advertising availabilities on cable TV networks to local businesses; develop new business, maintain and increase revenues of existing client base by selling the value and benefits of cable television.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
oGenerate advertising revenue by identifying and contacting local businesses and advertising agencies.
oGenerate and increase revenues by cold calling, appointment setting, and face-to-face presentations.
oPerform client needs analysis, recommend schedules and negotiate rates.
oPrepare presentations, process orders and contract confirmations for clients.
oCommunicate results or problems to management.
oComplete all required forms and paperwork
oMonitor individual accounts receivables including collection calls as necessary.
oRepresent company at trade association meetings to promote business and acquire new business leads.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
oBachelor's degree preferred plus minimum 3 years in broadcast/media sales with established account base.
oMust have effective interpersonal, organizational, research and analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently with flexibility and creativity.
oStrong written and verbal communication skills
oStrong customer relationship building skills focused on repeat business.
oProficient in MS Word, Excel and contact database.
oValid California driver's license with good driving record is required.
oAbility to work effectively in a faced paced environment with daily deadlines.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
oRequires driving own vehicle, interacting with clients via telephone, in person and through written correspondence
oOffice work requires typing and reading on a computer.
oStanding, sitting, bending and walking.
