Advanced Media Sales Specialist

Role and Responsibilities:
Reports to the Advanced Media Sales Manager and/or Team Lead and works in collaboration with the team to support advanced media sales, with focus on online assets but including Video on Demand and Interactive Television products. Work in conjunction with Operations teams (CA Creative, Calops, Traffic, Business Ops departments, et al) as needed and collaborates with colleagues in Business Development Unit including Auto, Field, Marketing, Research to assist in the creation and implementation of sales presentations, resources and other initiatives to support Advanced Media Sales efforts.  
A majority of the time is spent in the office supporting AEs (this position’s primary internal customers) providing specialized expertise and facilitating back end processes; the specialist may be assigned to support designated teams and have market wide responsibility for specific advanced media products. Support Adv Media Manager/Team Lead and Account Executives in developing campaign recommendations, client presentations and facilitating workflow and general back end processes in support of Advanced Media sales activity. 


Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

o Managing, trafficking and optimizing online campaigns
o Creating and updating client facing presentations
o Facilitating online inventory management and related trackers
o Managing back end process for online, VOD and interactive tv campaigns
o Creating monthly performance reports for Online and VOD campaigns
o Facilitating online banner design and production as necessary
o Attending internal brainstorming and strategy meetings
o Attending sales meetings and client meetings as necessary
o Updating and uploading content to Sales Source and shared drive 

Education and Compensation:

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years of interactive media sales support experience or equivalent is preferred. Compensation is commensurate with experience. 

Ideal Talent and Skills:

Strong knowledge of the interactive sales industry. Understanding of marketing strategy, qualitative and quantitative research, audience measurement tools such as comScore, hands-on experience managing and trafficking online campaigns.  Good communicator with strong verbal and written skills. Proficiency in developing powerpoint presentations and creating excel worksheets for database management. Highly proactive and solutions-oriented. Superior organizational skills with an acute eye for detail and the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
