Job Description:
Primary Purpose - Develop and strategically roll-out marketing
initiatives including internal and external client communications
and events.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and strategically implement client retention and acquisition programs and provide sales tools that inform and educate both Account Executives and advertisers.

Plan and execute integrated promotional opportunities for advertising clients and measure promotion results with
established tracking procedures. Work with sales management in developing business pitches and sales presentations that support our product value proposition. Work with peers across
the division to gain economies of scale and maintain best practices.

Submit monthly reports on projects and results. Weekly meeting with staff with each department: Research, Creative Services, Promotions. Weekly meeting with General Manager.

Provide management support and instruction to staff in meeting
marketing objectives and measuring promotion results with established tracking procedures.

Responsible for budgeting and forecasting marketing and promotional expenses.

Must be available for extended hours, as needed.

Oversees the hiring, training, evaluating and assisting of a motivated staff to carry out marketing, creative services, research and promotions functions.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Minimum of 10 years marketing experience, preferably in the cable or communications industry.

Ability to organize, plan, motivate, and direct marketing functions and personnel. Strong presentation and written skills.

Experience supporting sales teams.
Experience working in a sales environment.

Strong presentation and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel.

Understanding of promotions legal requirements.

Experience supporting sales teams.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of emerging technologies (i.e. on-demand).

Experience of internet marketing
Knowledge of direct mail marketing
Travel as needed.
