Responsibilities

 

In this position, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team in the Guilford area, to include direct supervision of the local sales team. You will train, develop and motivate a team of advertising Account Executives and monitor all sales activities to ensure success in exceeding business goals and objectives. You will work in conjunction with the Area Sales Manager to ensure compliance with business objectives and establish performance objectives. You will be responsible for conducting performance reviews and monitoring performance versus establish criteria and sales goals. Responsibilities include client contact, strategic sales planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and sales reporting of business. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

 

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have demonstratable research skills and possess a portfolio of experience that includes 5-7 years media sales experience and candidates possessing media sales management experience will be a plus. Financial planning and reporting, computer functionality and the ability to manage multiple tasks to completion are essential skills necessary for consideration. Candidates must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills/presentation skills to be considered.
