Marketing Coordinator

Summary
The Marketing Coordinator position helps drive incremental advertising revenue by developingand executing customer-focused promotional campaigns that are targeted and results driven.In addition, internal communications are a vital component to keep our sales force educatedabout up-sell opportunities on 49 insertable cable networks, as well, as our online and ONDEMAND products. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, haveexcellent written and verbal communication skills, work well in a fast-paced deadline drivenenvironment and be a master at multi-tasking.
 
MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)
Work directly with account executives and Sales Managers from Sacramento/Stockton salesteams on key and target accounts to develop promotional campaigns that will meet client needs, deliver results that generate incremental advertising revenue
 
Work with CA Region Marketing Departments, account executives and Sales Managers fromSan Francisco, Fresno and Monterey sales teams on secondary account work and implementation of promotional campaigns including submitting production work orders(PWOs), scheduling and trafficking orders, recapping invoices
 
Must be able to present promotion concepts and campaign tactics components directly tointernal and external clients
 
Will work directly with clients on implementation of promotion campaignsWork with Production to develop on-air creative that supports marketing campaigns
 
Work with graphic designers to develop marketing collateral (print, online), Web and Direct-Mail pieces that support promotional campaigns.
 
Develop internal communications of marketing opportunities and product information to sales force including PowerPoint presentations, one-sheets, calendars and trainings
 
Work with cable network partners to leverage promotion opportunities and assetsBook and audit cross-channel marketing schedules, placement, reporting and analysis.
 
Update tracking reports for local market and corporate and prepare recaps to networks and clients
 
Assist in CA Regional event production, including strategizing, planning and execution of major event initiatives across CA.
 
Coordinate client, staff and promotional event dutiesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
 
Must be highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
 
Excellent presentation writing skills
 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
Knowledge of copy writing a plus
 
Photoshop and other graphic skills a plus
 
Minimum Job Requirements

High school diploma or GEDBachelor’s degree preferredAt least 3 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specifiedMust be able to travel to local/regional offices and client meetings
