Location:  Kansas City 

Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Producer for our Media Sales office in Kansas City, MO. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Functions/Duties:
Responsible for all functions of video projects including but not limited to writing creative and original commercial concepts for clients.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Formulate creative ideas and write scripts for clients
2. Executes commercial productions and local origination programming.
3. Development of original commercial concepts, researching concepts and writing scripts.
4. Provides artistic and technical direction of individual production projects.
5. Performs all functions for video projects ranging from simple to complex.
6. Shoots and edits projects for maximum quality and to meet established deadlines.
7. Oversees or performs edit sessions for assigned projects.
8. Performs tasks as outlined by the General Manager to ensure housekeeping, maintenance and administration of the production department conforms to established standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
B.A. or B.S. degree in Radio/TV/Communications preferred or equivalent television production experience. Candidate must have at least 3 years experience in commercial or television productions with heavy emphasis on creative writing. Working knowledge of 3-D animation programs is a plus.

SKILLS:
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. Working knowledge of cable television, FCC laws and regulations, advertising, promotions, and production. Must be conscientious, dependable, and prompt, and available to work evenings/weekends as needed. A team player who adapts easily to a changing environment and works well with other Production staff as well as the sales team and clients. Visual acuity and awareness of aesthetics and composition are required. Must have a valid Missouri or Kansas driver's license and an excellent driving record.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the General Manager.
