Mr. Ken Anderson, Creative DirectorMr. Ken Anderson serves as the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau’s (CAB) creative director. His responsibilities include the management and continued development of the CAB brand image and the collateral materials that support the organization’s advocacy efforts. Additionally, Anderson is integrally involved in the creative planning associated with the CAB’s Local Sales Management Conference, which brings together more than 1,200 local cable advertising sales executives each year. Anderson has had a dynamic career that included stints on both the agency and client side as a creative director as well as in television production. Prior to the CAB, he most recently served as creative director for KOA Associates where he developed Internet, promotion, packaging and branding programs for clients that included Priceline.com, American Express, Spaulding Sports Worldwide and the United Parcel Service (UPS). Before KOA, Anderson worked in several positions of increasing responsibility for The New York Times Company Magazine Group, including art director for Family Circle magazine. His success culminated with being named creative director for advertising, promotion, multimedia and branding for the firm’s sports and leisure trades including Golf Digest, Golf World, Snow County, Sailing World and Tennis magazines. In this role, he developed interactive sales presentations, internet design, navigation and functionality of the various magazine websites. He worked integrally with advertising clients that included BMW, Acura, Chevrolet, Taylor Made, Titleist, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, The Travelers Life Insurance and the Tiger Woods Foundation. Prior to working at The New York Times Magazine Group, Anderson was art director and associate producer for Charisma Productions, an Emmy award winning broadcast design group, working with clients that included CNN, ESPN, TBS, CBS and the NBA. He also worked as the art director for the legendary Irish Echo newspaper in New York. |
